This is a Bible study on what spiritual life really is and whether we are truly alive or not.
God’s Perspective
God is eternal and looks at things from that viewpoint, not so much from a temporal one. Therefore, when He looks at you or me, He looks at us to see if we are living temporally or eternally, because He exists forever.
Our Spirit
True life is in our spiritual life. Not so much in our physical bodies or soul{volition, emotions or mental capacity). But it is in that portion of our being that only God can make alive, because it is God and Him only, Who controls that world. It is here that He decides what life is for you and for me. We cannot decide that because it is not our world. It is His. So, out of God’s love for us He has shared the keys of death, hell and the grave. Those keys are given to Jesus the Christ, God’s Son. That if we believe upon God through His Son, we would be made alive unto Him. Then we will be able to worship Him.
Worshipping God
The Bible clearly says that those who want to worship God( surrender all to Him in adoration) must do so with their spirit, in truth. John 4:23-24 We first accomplish our connection with God in our spirit. It becoming alive unto God, in being born again. Experience this with us as we take advantage of God’s love for our lives.
