This a Bible study on the differences between good, evil, and sin. And how amidst God’s love, these aspect of life play themselves out in our spiritual lives.
Good and Evil
Good is simply the opposite of evil. And evil is simply the opposite of doing somethin good. We all do both. But God did not want Adam and Eve to have the knowledge of good and evil because it would condemn them. But once they ate of the forbidden fruit their conscience was affected. Not only with the new awareness of the knowledge of good and evil. But also the hurt and pain of sin, that caused them to hide from God. Genesis 3:11
Sin
As we consider further good, evil and sin. We can see that sin simply put, is disobedience from God. Since nobody is perfect as the Bible states, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 We too are partakers of sin and must access God’s forgiveness if we are to remain in His presence. We can accomplish this by receiving into our lives what the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ has done for us, by believing in Him.
Receiving Jesus
Many people think that there is a big difference between Christians and non-Christians, when there really isn’t. Everyone is doing good. evil and sin. The only difference is Jesus is in one person’s life and not in the other. Travel with us in the above video as we exlpore God’s love in sharing His Son with the world.
