Believing
Hebrews 11:6
The writer of the book of Hebrews states that without faith it is impossible to please God for he must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. We also see in the scripture where after the thief that was crucified with Jesus repented (turned around) Luke 23:39-43, Jesus promised that he would be with Him in paradise. This turning around is depicted in our lives when we turn from a life of serving ourselves to serving God. We then ask God to forgives us of all of our disobedience to Him during that previous lifestyle so that we may live our lives anew in service to Him.
If you would like to begin your life anew with God by giving your life to Him through His Son Jesus, then pray this prayer.
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You asking You to forgive me of all of my sins. I am now confessing with my mouth and believing in my heart that You lived on this earth, died on the cross, and arose from the dead for my salvation. I pray now that You will come into my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may know You better and experience Your love more. Thank You, Jesus, for loving me. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Thank You, Jesus, for setting me free!
If you prayed that prayer then you can rest assured that Jesus, The Christ has come into your heart and made you a child of God forever. And now you no longer have to be afraid of death, hell or the grave. You are now a part of the family of God and will spend eternity in His blessed presence, enjoying His love forever.
